In the social sciences we may call it <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interculturality">interculturality</a> or <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interculturalism">interculturalism</a>. In economics, we might call it <strong>price</strong>, the mechanism that enables exchange of goods. But that is another story, and I think the idea is clear.</p>
